This is very good, well done!
Ditzy has always been one of my favorite characters, and your technique is very interesting. It definitely looks more anime like, with the ears and hair. Her wings are gorgeous and the shading in her eyes is beautiful. I appreciate the fact that you made her straight eyed. It shows her as the beautiful mare that she is instead of a dork. I also love the flare of sun you have across her as well. Great job!
Now for a couple things I noticed were just a bit off. Her right foreleg seems to be a bit longer then it should. The clouds just don't seem to match the style of Ditzy.....I can't really put my finger on it, but they look a little cartoon-y while Ditzy looks very elegant and anime-ish. I dunno...just think the clouds should be a bit more stylish and sharp. Last thing, her tail starts too far up. It looks like it is growing out of her back.
Other then those couple things, you have made a fantastic piece. I love the beauty of it! Keep up the good work
